TCP/IP not binding to NIC
I have NIC 3COM 3C905C-TX network card. I can ping 127.0.0.1 and my IP address, but when I'm trying to ping something else it gives me the message "network unreachable". Also when I do "ifconfig" command after NIC properties I have the message: "invalid checksum 002f" What version of Mandrake are you using ?

When I install the 4.2 version of FreeBSD the installation procedure does not find my 3Com 3C905C Nic card. But when I installed the 5.0-Current version from February 2001, the card was recognized and everything went well. Anybody have any idea on this one? I would much rather install the 4.2 stable release instead

had any luck getting this NIC to work on Sol8? 0101 and 0401 installs pick it up but crash later on. 1000 installs but doesn't pick up the network card. Also, only the 3C905B-tx is listed on the hcl. ANy help would be much appreciated or this means swapping out a load of network cards as well as graphics

XP Home & 3Com 3C905C-TX problems
I have NT 4.0 sp6 running in a VM fine. however I can't intall the driver for a 3Com 3C905C-TXM adapter card. Every time I try to install I get a "Network card not present in the system" error.
